One-stop retail signage solution drives Circle K’s business expansion

Circle K – one of the most popular chain of convenience stores in Hong Kong – radiates a vibrant brand image by adding value, fun and uniqueness to the overall customer experience.

A solution was demanded to help expanding the chain’s hot snacks business and digitize a paper-based menu to boost distribution efficiency, while seizing cross-selling opportunities. HKT crafted a one-stop retail solution comprising cloud-based signage, Biz Wi-Fi and a service helpdesk to streamline menu updates and send instant promotional messages via a cloud platform.

Installing digital signage in cramped quarters gave rise to challenges, but HKT found an innovative way of providing heat and humidity-resistant cabinets for cables and signage panels.

Marketing messages are now disseminated to customers and ad hoc campaigns can be launched instantly. Successful implementation at Circle K’s flagship store will now be followed by full rollout throughout the chain.
